For over 20 years, I have been providing entertainment for weddings, anniversaries, parties, reunions and school dances.  This outfit has the motto, “small town prices, big city sound!”  I use the Bose L1 sound system which is powerful enough for any venue, indoors or out!  The system is small in size too, so there are not a bunch of speakers and wires in the entertainment area.

I service all my bookings myself.  When you hire Putting on the Hits, you get ME as your DJ.  I’m 52 years-old, so I grew up with the sounds of the 70s and 80s, so I have a large collection of music from those eras; perfect for any reunion from those years.  But I am also a lover of today’s music and have provided current hits for events for the last decade and a half.  I tailor your event according to your tastes.  We’ll meet several weeks before your event to go over the types of music you want to hear.  I will typically allow you to specifically choose 30 songs or so that you want to hear that evening and get them on for you when the timing is right!

I think you’ll find my rates very comparable to others:  You’ll get me as your DJ, using the BOSE L1 II stystem, which features 32 smaller speakers in one six foot tower!  (Go to my website to see a picture of the system). I charge by the hour so you only pay for the time you need me!  Rates are $150 per hour, up to five hours.  Additional hours can be added for $125 per hour.   Set up and tear down fees are included.  The 30 songs that you choose are also free of charge.  A travel fee of $40 will be added to the total if you are outside of Brazos County.
